In a press release, Mark Papermaster, executive vice president and chief innovation officer at AMD described, “ AMD is happy to be working with leading worldwide research study institutions to bring the power of high-performance computing innovation to the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.

In the past, AMD’s COVID-19 HPC fund has actually donated systems or computing capability to respected facilities such as Cambridge University, Stanford School of Medicine, and Harvard Kid’s Health center.
