MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated on Thursday the federal government would consider increasing budget plan spending by 1.8 trillion roubles ($256 billion) to combat the coronavirus and support the economy.

Some economic experts have said Russia’s policies surrounding budget spending have impeded its ability to properly fund anti-crisis measures.
